How good were the Saturday Morning cartoons during the 1967-1968 season? My memory said they were pretty good, but the guy behind FredFlix has put together an amazing compilation of promos, bumpers, theme songs and more from that era to really give you a flavor of just how good it was. Anyone else want to grab a bowl of cereal and sit in front of the TV with me?
WKRP in Cincinnati was one of my favorite shows growing up, and probably the main reason many people my age wanted to go into radio. I think the show still holds up well today, if you can find it. Apparently issues with the musical rights to some of the classic rock tunes they played on the show makes it almost impossible to air episodes in their entirety (or heavily edited)…
Been seeing billboards around town announcing the return of Steve Martin to the stage, with friend and fellow comedian Martin Short. This made me think about the impact Steve had when he first burst onto the comedy scene in the early 1970’s and the impact he would have on generations of comedians to come.
