“Rock You Like a Hurricane” by the Scorpions was released as the lead single from their ninth studio album, Love at First Sting which came out in 1984. It was written by Klaus Meine and Herman Rarebell, composed by Rudolf Schenker and reached number 25 in the USA Billboard Hot 100, greatly contributing to the album’s success, and it’s rockin’ music video was put into heavy rotation by MTV at the time.

‘Rock You Like a Hurricane” was not only the Scorpions biggest hit, it is also considered one of the top rock songs of the 1980s.  A powerful, infectious tune, it grabs you from the outset and doesn’t let go.  We found this great LIVE version of the song, at a concert at the Oakland Coliseum in 1985. Who’s ready to rock out with the Scorpions?
